Law No. (29) of 2008

Transferring the Ownership of Emirates Corporation to the

Investment Corporation of Dubai[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

Decree No. (2) of 1985 Establishing Emirates Corporation and its amendments; and

Law No. (11) of 2006 Establishing the Investment Corporation of Dubai and its amendments,

Do hereby issue this Law.

Article (1)

Effective as of the date this Law comes into force, the ownership of Emirates Corporation and all of its rights and obligations will be transferred from the Government of Dubai to the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

Article (2)

This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
