Amending Law No. (7) of 1997

Concerning Land Registration Fees^{^[1]}

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

Law No. (7) of 1997 Concerning Land Registration Fees and its amendments;

Law No. (7) of 2006 Concerning Real Property Registration in the Emirate of Dubai; and

Law No. (35) of 2009 Concerning Management of the Public Funds of the Government of Dubai and its Amendments,

Do hereby issue this Law.

Fee for Registration of Warehouse Sale Contract

Article (1)

The fee mentioned below is hereby added to the Land Registration Fees Schedule attached to the above-mentioned Law No. (7) of 1997:

Registration of a Warehouse Sale Contract: Ten Dirhams (AED 10.00) for each square metre of the plot upon which the warehouse is constructed. The fee may not be less than ten thousand Dirhams (AED 10,000.00).

Payment of the Fee

Article (2)

The fee collected pursuant to the provisions of Article (1) of this Law will be paid to the Public Treasury of the Government of Dubai.

Commencement and Publication

Article (3)

This Law comes into force on 1 May 2013, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
