Law No. (32)
of 2009
Concerning
the Executive Office[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,
After perusal of Law No. (32) of 2009 Concerning the
Executive Office (the “Original Law”),
Do hereby issue this Law.
Articles (2), (3), and (6) of the Original Law are
hereby superseded by the following:
The following words and expressions will have the
meaning indicated opposite each of them unless the context implies otherwise:
Ruler: His Highness the Ruler of Dubai.
Emirate: The Emirate of Dubai.
Government: The Government of Dubai.
Chairman: The chairman of the Executive Office.
The provisions of this Law will apply to the
Executive Office established pursuant to Law No. (28) of 2006. The Executive
Office will have the legal personality required for the achievement of its objectives,
and is hereby affiliated to the Ruler.
The financial resources of the Executive Office will
consist of the support allocated in the general budget of the Emirate and any
other resources approved by the Ruler.
This Law will be published in the Official Gazette
and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
