Affiliating the

Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy to the

Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

Law No. (9) of 2007 Establishing the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (the “AMAF”); 

Law No. (33) of 2015 Establishing the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation; and

Law No. (17) of 2017 Establishing the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (“MBRGCEC”), 

Do hereby issue this Law.

Affiliating the MBRGCEC to AMAF

Article (1)

The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy established pursuant to the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2017 is hereby affiliated to the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation.

Exercise of Powers

Article (2)

a.      The Board of Directors of the AMAF will exercise the duties and powers vested in the Board of Trustees of the MBRGCEC under the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2017.

b.      The Secretary General of the AMAF or his authorised representative will exercise the duties and powers vested in the Secretary General of the MBRGCEC under the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2017.

Providing Financial and Administrative Support to the MBRGCEC

Article (3)

The AMAF must provide the MBRGCEC with the financial and administrative support required for enabling the MBRGCEC to achieve its objectives and exercise its powers under the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2017.

Repeals

Article (4)

Any provision in any other legislation will be repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Law.

Commencement and Publication

Article (5)

This Law comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
