Executive Council Resolution No. (30) of 2024

Forming the Supreme Committee of Emergency, Crisis, and

Disaster Management in the Emirate of Dubai^{^[1]}

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council,

After perusal of:

Law No. (26) of 2023 Concerning the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;

Decree No. (4) of 2021 Concerning the Supreme Committee of Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management in the Emirate of Dubai (the “SCCDM”);

Decree No. (1) of 2023 Concerning Governance of the Councils/ Boards and Committees Affiliated to the Government of Dubai;

Resolution No. (2) of 2021 Appointing the Chairman of the Supreme Committee of Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management in the Emirate of Dubai,

Do hereby issue this Resolution.

Formation of the SCCDM

Article (1)

The SCCDM is hereby formed under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and with the membership of:

1. the President of the State Security Department in Dubai;

2. the Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;

3. the Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police;

4. the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority;

5. the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy;

6. the Director General the Directorate General of Civil Defence in Dubai;

7. the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority;

8. the Director General of the Dubai Municipality;

9. the Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in the Emirate of Dubai; and

10. the Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office.

Commencement and Publication

Article (2)

This Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
