Transferring the Sheikha Maitha bint Rashid Al Maktoum
Centre for
People of Determination to the Community Development
Authority in Dubai[1]

We, Hamdan bin
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the
Executive Council,
After
perusal of:
Law
No. (5) of 1995 Establishing the Department of Finance;
Law
No. (31) of 2009 Establishing the Dubai Government Human Resources Department
and its amendments;
Law
No. (8) of 2015 Concerning the Community Development Authority in Dubai (the “CDA”);
Law
No. (8) of 2018 Concerning Management of the Government of Dubai Human
Resources;
Law
No. (26) of 2023 Concerning the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai; and
Executive
Council Resolution No. (2) of 2024 Approving the Organisational Structure of
the Community Development Authority in Dubai,
Do hereby issue this
Resolution.
As
of the date on which this Resolution comes into force, the Sheikha Maitha bint
Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for People of Determination (the “MBRCPD”) will be transferred to the CDA and incorporated as an
organisational unit within the CDA organisational structure approved under the
above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2024.
a. The following is hereby transferred to the CDA:
1.
the ownership of
the real property, movables, assets, devices, equipment, and other property of
the MBRCPD;
2.
the Employees of
the MBRCPD. These Employees will, in coordination with the Dubai Government
Human Resources Department, be placed on grades in accordance with the
above-mentioned Law No. (8) of 2018 and the resolutions issued in pursuance
thereof; and will retain their existing rights; and
3.
the financial
appropriations allocated to the MBRCPD.
b. The CDA hereby succeeds the MBRCPD in respect of all the rights and obligations of
the MBRCPD.
The
CDA must pay the Total Salaries of the Employees of the MBRCPD who are
transferred to the CDA by the effective date of this Resolution, as per their
respective employment contracts, until the placement of these Employees on
grades in accordance with the provisions of sub-paragraph (a)(2) of Article (2)
hereof.
The
CDA must coordinate with the concerned entities in the Emirate of Dubai to
comply with the provisions of this Resolution within no later than three (3) months from the
date on which this Resolution comes into force.
The
Director General of the CDA will issue the resolutions required for the
implementation of this Resolution.
Any
provision in any other resolution is hereby repealed to the extent that it
contradicts the provisions of this Resolution.
This
Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be
published in the Official Gazette.
