Reconstituting the
Free Zone Council in
the Emirate of Dubai[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of
Dubai,
After perusal
of:
Law No. (13)
of 2015 Establishing the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai (the "FZC");
Decree No.
(22) of 2015 Appointing the Chairman of the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of
Dubai;
Decree No.
(23) of 2015 Forming the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai;
Decree No.
(28) of 2015 Concerning Governance of the Boards and Committees Affiliated to
the Government of Dubai;
Decree No.
(30) of 2015 Adding Members to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai;
Decree No.
(25) of 2018 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai;
and
Decree No.
(11) of 2020 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai,
Do hereby issue this Decree.
The Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai formed pursuant to
the above-mentioned Decree No. (23) of 2015 is hereby reconstituted under the
chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al
Maktoum, and with the membership of:
1.
the Secretary General of the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of
Dubai;
2.
the Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation;
3.
the Director General of the Dubai Municipality;
4.
the Director General of the State Security Authority in Dubai;
5.
the Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in
the Emirate of Dubai;
6.
the Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
7.
the Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre;
8.
the Director General of the Dubai Development Authority;
9.
the Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority;
10.
the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones
Authority;
11.
the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation;
12.
the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority;
13.
the Executive Chairman of the Meydan City Corporation;
14.
the Vice Chairman of the International Humanitarian City Authority;
and
15.
the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
a.
Pursuant to this Decree, the following decrees are repealed:
1.
Decree No. (23) of 2015 Forming the Free Zone Council in the
Emirate of Dubai;
2.
Decree No. (30) of 2015 Adding Members to the Free Zone Council in
the Emirate of Dubai;
3.
Decree No. (25) of 2018 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate
of Dubai; and
4.
Decree No. (11) of 2020 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in
the Emirate of Dubai.
b.
Any provision in any other legislation is hereby repealed to the extent that it
contradicts the provisions of this Decree.
This Decree comes into force on 1 January 2022, and will be
published in the Official Gazette.
