Approving the Guide for Calculating the Percentages of
Completion of Real Property Units by Real Property

perusal of:
Law
No. (13) of 2008 Regulating the Interim Real Property Register in the Emirate
of Dubai and its amendments;
Law
No. (7) of 2013 Concerning the Land Department (the “DLD”);
Law
No. (4) of 2019 Concerning the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (the “RERA”);
and
The
presentation of the Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory
Agency,
Does
hereby issue this Resolution.
The percentages of completion of the Real Property Units to which the provisions of the above-mentioned Law No. (13) of 2008 apply will be calculated in accordance with the standards, rules, and requirements stipulated in the “Guide for Calculating the Percentages of Completion of Real Property Units by Real Property Developers” published on the DLD website.
The percentages of completion of Real Property Units calculated in accordance with the guide referred to in Article (1) of this Resolution will be binding on the purchasers and developers to whom the above-mentioned Law No. (13) of 2008 apply.
The RERA will be responsible for implementing the standards, rules, conditions, and requirements stipulated in the guide referred to in Article (1) of this Resolution; for reviewing that guide on a regular basis and proposing any necessary updates thereto; and for submitting the relevant recommendations in respect thereof to the Director General of the DLD for approval.
This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
