Approving the
Dubai Inclusive
Education Policy Framework, and Directives and Guidelines for Inclusive
Education for Private Schools in the Emirate of Dubai[1]

The Director
General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai,
After
perusal of:
Law
No. (2) of 2021 Concerning the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in
Dubai (the "KHDA");
Law
No. (3) of 2022 Concerning the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the
Emirate of Dubai, and its Implementing Bylaw and its amendments;
Executive
Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017 Regulating Private Schools in the Emirate of
Dubai; and
Executive
Council Resolution No. (35) of 2020 Regulating Early Childhood Centres in the
Emirate of Dubai and its amendments,
Does hereby issue this
Resolution.
Pursuant to this Resolution,
the following are approved, as published on the official website of the KHDA,
inclusive of the standards, guidelines, directives, and obligations set out
therein:
1. the Dubai
Inclusive Education Policy Framework (the "Framework"); and
2. the Directives and
Guidelines for Inclusive Education for Private Schools (the "Directives").
The Framework and the Directives
approved pursuant to this Resolution apply to all educational institutions and Centres
authorised to conduct Educational Activities in accordance with the
above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017 and Executive
Council Resolution No. (35) of 2020.
The KHDA will be responsible
for regularly reviewing and, where necessary, updating the Framework and the Directives
approved under this Resolution; and must ensure that any relevant updates or
amendments are published on its official website.
This
Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force
on the day on which it is published.
