Amending
Executive Council Resolution No.
(19) of 2010 Approving the
Fees and Fines Prescribed by the
Traffic Toll Law in the Emirate of Dubai[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman
of the Executive Council,
After perusal of:
Law No. (17) of 2005 Establishing the Roads and Transport
Authority (the “RTA”) and its amendments;
Law No. (22) of 2006 Concerning the Traffic Toll in the
Emirate of Dubai, its amendments, and its Implementing Bylaw;
Law No. (26) of 2023 Concerning the Executive Council of the
Emirate of Dubai; and
Executive Council Resolution No. (19) of 2010 Approving the
Fees and Fines Prescribed by the Traffic Toll Law in the Emirate of Dubai,
Do
hereby issue this Resolution.
Schedule (1) prescribing
the Traffic Toll charges and Tag fees attached to the above-mentioned Executive
Council Resolution No. (19) of 2010 is hereby
superseded by the Schedule attached to this Resolution.
a.
The RTA will suspend the operation of Traffic Toll Gates and will
not collect the Traffic Toll charges from a Vehicle Owner passing through any
Traffic Toll Gate between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
b.
The RTA may, subject to the approval
of the Executive Council, modify the Traffic Toll Gates operation suspension timing
stipulated in paragraph (a) of this Article in accordance with the technical
standards it adopts in this respect.
a.
The
Traffic Toll charges specified in item (3) of Schedule (1) attached to this
Resolution will be collected on UAE public holidays, official occasions,
and other events as determined by the RTA in coordination with the General
Secretariat of the Executive Council, including those falling on Sundays.
b.
The
RTA will announce the collection of the Traffic Toll charges as stated in
paragraph (a) of this Article on its official website and through
widely circulated media channels.
a.
For the purpose of collecting the Traffic Toll charges, the RTA
will be responsible for determining and modifying Peak Hours
in accordance with the technical standards it adopts in this respect, subject
to the approval of the Executive Council.
b.
The
RTA
will announce Peak Hours and any subsequent modifications thereto, as referred
to in paragraph (a) of this Article, on its website and through mass media outlets.
Any provision in any other resolution is hereby repealed to the
extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Resolution.
This Resolution comes into force on 31 January 2025, and will be published
in the Official Gazette.
