Amending

Executive Council Resolution No. (4) of 2014 Approving the

Fees and Fines Related to Notaries Public in the Emirate of Dubai[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council,

After perusal of:

Law No. (5) of 1995 Establishing the Department of Finance;

Law No. (6) of 2005 Regulating the Dubai Courts and its amendments;

Law No. (14) of 2009 Concerning the Pricing of Government Services in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments;

Law No. (4) of 2013 Concerning Notaries Public in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments;

Law No. (1) of 2016 Concerning the Financial Regulations of the Government of Dubai, its Implementing Bylaw, and their amendments;

Law No. (26) of 2023 Concerning the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai; and

Executive Council Resolution No. (4) of 2014 Approving the Fees and Fines Related to Notaries Public in the Emirate of Dubai,

Do hereby issue this Resolution.

Supersession of Schedules
Article (1)

Schedules (1), (2), and (3) attached to the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (4) of 2014 are hereby superseded by the schedules attached to this Resolution.

Private Notary Public Fees
Article (2)

In return for the Notary Public services he is authorised to provide under the above-mentioned Law No. (4) of 2013, a Private Notary Public will collect the fees to be determined by a resolution issued by the Director of the Dubai Courts, in coordination with the Department of Finance.

Repeals
Article (3)

Any provision in any other resolution is hereby repealed to the extent that it conflicts with the provisions of this Resolution.

Commencement and Publication

Article (4)

This Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
