Approving the

Education Staff Deregistration Manual^{^[1]}

The Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai,

After perusal of:

Law No. (2) of 2021 Concerning the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai (the "KHDA");

Executive Council Resolution No. (21) of 2011 Concerning Higher Education Institutions in the Free Zones in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments;

Executive Council Resolution No. (50) of 2015 Regulating Training Institutes in the Emirate of Dubai;

Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017 Regulating Private Schools in the Emirate of Dubai;

Executive Council Resolution No. (35) of 2020 Regulating Early Childhood Centres in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments; and

Executive Council Resolution No. (30) of 2021 Regulating Vocational Education in the Emirate of Dubai,

Does hereby issue this Resolution.

Approval of the Manual

Article (1)

Pursuant to this Resolution, the Education Staff Deregistration Manual (the “Manual”) published on the KHDA’s website, inclusive of the rules, procedures, and forms set forth therein, is approved.

Scope of Application

Article (2)

The Manual applies to all educational and training institutions and centres, as well as teaching and administrative staff, authorised to operate in accordance with the following legislation:

1. the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (21) of 2011;

2. the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (50) of 2015;

3. the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017;

4. the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (35) of 2020; and

5. the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (30) of 2021.

Reviewing and Updating the Manual

Article (3)

The Growth and Human Development Sector of the KHDA is responsible for periodically reviewing and updating the Manual. Any such updates or amendments must be published on the KHDA’s website.

Publication and Commencement

Article (4)

This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
