Designating the Competent Court
for Judicial Rehabilitation[1]

We, Maktoum bin Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Judicial Council,
After perusal of:
Federal Law No. (5) of 2022 Concerning Rehabilitation; and
Decree No. (35) of 2021 Designating the Head of the Local Judiciary in the Emirate of Dubai for the Purposes of Implementing Federal Legislation,
Do hereby issue this Resolution.
Pursuant to this Resolution, the Criminal Court at the Courts of First Instance of the Dubai Courts will have the jurisdiction to hear and determine applications for the judicial rehabilitation stipulated in the above-mentioned Federal Law No. (5) of 2022. The Chief Justice of the Criminal Court will designate the competent division in charge of hearing and determining these applications.
This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
