Terminating the Mandate of the

Committee for Placement of Employees on Grades Pursuant to the Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law ^{^[1]}

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council,

After perusal of:

Law No. (3) of 2003 Establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;

Law No. (31) of 2009 Establishing the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and its amendments;

Law No. (8) of 2018 Concerning Management of the Government of Dubai Human Resources;

Executive Council Resolution No. (8) of 2020 Forming the Committee for Placement of Employees on Grades Pursuant to the Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law (the “Committee”); and

Executive Council Resolution No. (11) of 2021 Vesting Powers in the Committee for Placement of Employees on Grades Pursuant to the Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law,

Do hereby issue this Resolution.

Terminating the Mandate of the Committee

Article (1)

As of the effective date of this Resolution, the Committee's mandate is hereby terminated and all its functions and powers under the legislation in force in the Emirate, including the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution (8) of 2020 and Executive Council Resolution (11) of 2021, are hereby transferred to the Dubai Government Human Resources Department. In particular, any decisions and procedures to be taken by the Dubai Government Human Resources Department will be definitive and non-appealable.

Repeals

Article (2)

The above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (8) of 2020 and Executive Council Resolution No. (11) of 2021 are hereby repealed. Any provision in any other resolution is also hereby repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Resolution.

Commencement and Publication

Article (3)

This Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
