Concerning Reduction and Cancellation of
Fees and Charges in the
Emirate of Dubai[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive
Council,
After perusal of:
Law No. (5) of 1995 Establishing the Department of Finance;
Law No. (3) of 2003 Establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;
Law No. (14) of 2009 Concerning the Pricing of Government Services in the Emirate of Dubai and its amendments;
Law No. (32) of 2015 Concerning the Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai;
Law No. (1) of 2016 Concerning the Financial Regulations of the Government of Dubai and its Implementing Bylaw;
Decree No. (28) of 2019 Concerning the Economic Growth Stimulus Initiatives in the Emirate of Dubai; and
The local Legislation regulating the revenue collected by Government Entities in the Emirate of Dubai in return for the services they provide, and
With a view to alleviating the financial burdens of persons conducting economic activities, or residing, in the Emirate of Dubai,
Do hereby issue this Resolution.
The fees collected by certain Government Entities for the services they provide are hereby reduced as stated in Schedule (1) attached hereto.
The fees collected by certain Government Entities for the services they provide are hereby cancelled as stated in Schedule (2) attached hereto.
The head of a Government Entity may, subject to obtaining the prior approval of the Department of Finance, reduce or cancel any charges, other than fees, that the entity collects for the services or goods it provides. The cancellation or reduction must be made pursuant to the same legislative instrument under which the charges are approved, and this legislative instrument must be published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Dubai.
Any provision in any other resolution will be repealed to the extent that it contradicts this Resolution.
This Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
