Forming the Board of Directors of the

Dubai Autism Centre[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Autism Centre,

After perusal of:

Decree No. (21) of 2001 Establishing the Dubai Autism Centre (the DAC); and

Resolution No. (1) of 2005 Forming the Board of Directors of the Dubai Autism Centre,

Do hereby issue this Resolution.

Formation of the Board of Directors

Article (1)

a.       The Board of Directors of the DAC is hereby formed under Our chairmanship, and with the membership of:

1.       Mr. Saif bin Markhan Al Ketbi, as vice chairman;

2.       Mr. Sami Yaqout Al Reyami, as member;

3.       Mr. Khalid Abdul Karim Al Malik, as member; and

4.       Mr. Mohammed Amin Al Emadi, as member.

The membership of the Board of Directors will be for a renewable term of three (3) years.

b.       Where the Board of Directors is not reconstituted upon expiry of the term of membership of the members mentioned in paragraph (a) of this Article, these members will continue to perform their duties until they are reappointed or replaced by new members.

Validity of Resolutions of the Former Board of Directors

Article (2)

The resolutions passed by the former Board of Directors from 28 February 2008 until the effective date of this Resolution are deemed valid.

Commencement and Publication

Article (3)

This Resolution comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
