Renaming the
“Dubai eGovernment” as “Dubai Smart Government”[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,
After perusal of:
Law No. (7) of 2009 Establishing the Dubai
eGovernment,
Do hereby issue this Law.
The name “Dubai
eGovernment”, wherever mentioned in the cited Law No. (7) of 2009 and in any
other legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai, is hereby replaced by the
name “Dubai Smart Government”.
This Law comes into force
on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official
Gazette.
