Council Resolution No. (21) of 2012
Prescribing
the Fee for Using Treated Sewage Water for
Irrigating
Private Farms in the Emirate of Dubai[1]

We, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council,
After perusal of:
Law No. (3) of 2003
Establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai;
Law No. (14) of 2009 Concerning
the Pricing of Government Services in the Emirate of Dubai;
Law No. (35) of 2009 Concerning
Management of the Public Funds of the Government of Dubai;
The Order of 1961 Establishing
the Dubai Municipality; and
Local Order No. (8) of 2002
Concerning Sewerage, Irrigation, and Water Drainage in the Emirate of Dubai and
its amendments,
Do hereby issue this Resolution.
The owners of land plots used as private farms in
the Emirate of Dubai will be charged a monthly fee of two and a half (2.5) fils
per square metre of the total area of their plots for using treated sewage
water for irrigating their farms.
This Resolution comes into force on the day on
which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
