Decree No. (4) of 2008

Appointing the

Crown Prince of the Emirate of Dubai^[1]

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

For the purpose of achieving the public interest, and by virtue of the powers vested in Us;

Do hereby issue this Decree.

Article (1)

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is hereby appointed the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Dubai, and conferred the title “His Highness the Crown Prince”.

Article (2)

All competent entities must, in accordance with their respective powers, give effect to this Decree. This Decree comes into force as of 1 February 2008, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
