Decree No. (23) of 2007

Transferring the

Legal Affairs Management Functions of

His Highness the Ruler’s Court to the Executive Council[1]

 We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

Law No. (3) of 2003 Establishing the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai,

Do hereby issue this Decree.

Article (1)

All duties and powers vested in the Office of the Legal Advisor of the Government of Dubai at His Highness the Ruler’s Court, in relation to managing the legal affairs of the Government of Dubai, are hereby transferred to the Executive Council.

Article (2)

The employees of the Office of the Legal Advisor of the Government of Dubai will be transferred to the Executive Council, and will retain their existing rights.

Article (3)

The Chairman of the Executive Council is hereby authorised to issue the resolutions required for the implementation of the provisions of this Decree.

Article (4)

This Decree will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
