We, Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

The Instructions Concerning Arbitration Clauses in the Contracts Concluded by the Government of Dubai and its Departments and Corporations, issued on 6 February 1988;

The Instructions Concerning the Contracts Concluded by the Government of Dubai and its Departments and Corporations, issued on 6 February 1988, and their amendments dated 15 March 1988; and

The Instructions Concerning the Lawsuits Involving the Government and its Departments, issued on 2 July 1992, Corporations, and Authorities,

Do hereby issue this Order.

Article (1)

The Emirates National Oil Company Limited (ENOC) and the companies owned by or affiliated to it, and any natural or legal person they deal with, are hereby exempted from compliance with all the instructions cited above.

Article (2)

This Order comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
